What is the difference between ReveLife Weight Loss programs and Jenny Craig®, Lindora®, and Weight Watchers®?
Our management team includes former executives from some of those companies and familiar with those popular brands. The biggest difference is that ReveLife weight loss programs begin with testing your resting metabolic rate along with your body fat percentage and lean muscle mass percentage to create your individual diet and exercise plan. ReveLife also provides free gym membership during your program to help you reach your goal all in one location
Do I have to exercise while on your Program?
While exercise is not a requirement on our Program, exercise has been proven to enhance your weight loss results, improve metabolism, health, and well-being. If you decide to exercise, our Personal Exercise Coaches will meet with you to review your current physical fitness and design an exercise regimen you can easily follow on the ReveLife Mobile App that is fun, effective, and safe. Your ReveLife Gym Membership is complimentary while you are participating in the ReveLife weight loss program.
What is a Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) Test?
Metabolism is simply how you convert food to energy. Your metabolic rate is a measure of how much food or fat is converted to energy in one day. The RMR test measures how many calories you burn during rest. This data will provide your total daily caloric needs in order to design your individual diet and exercise program.
How Is A Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) Test Performed?
The RMR test is an easy, non-invasive test that takes 15-20 minutes. You simply breathe into a tube while relaxing in a reclining chair. Your test results will be available immediately after the test is completed
How do I Prepare for a Resting Metabolic (RMR) Test?
Prior to your test appointment, do not exercise for at least 12 hours before the test. Do not use caffeine or nicotine for at least 6 hours and refrain from eating for at least 4 hours.
How long will I have to stay on the ReveLife Weight Loss Program?
How long you stay on the Program depends on your own personal goals including how much weight you’d like to lose. We have program options to fit your needs and will support you until you reach your goal.
How much weight can I expect to lose?
Our program has been designed to result in healthy weekly weight loss. Your personal Nutrition Coach will work with you to set realistic, and healthy weight loss goals. Results vary based on personal weight history, body composition, the frequency of physical activity and personal motivation, along with other factors.
What can you tell me about your food and menus?
One of the best things about the ReveLife Weight Loss Program is that you get to choose your own foods, right from the start! This means you have complete flexibility, you get to eat your favorite foods, and learning to design your own meal plans begins right from Day 1. Our ReveLife Mobile APP creates and tracks your custom meal plans and allows you to scan and track all food nutritional information. ReveLife Nutrition has a very large food database, validated by Nutritionists.
Does your program require purchasing food products? Are your products mandatory?
The ReveLife Program includes the option of delicious, nutritious snacks, clinically proven, and scientifically designed to work in conjunction with your meal plan. A few of the benefits of using ReveLife products include helping your body maintain a higher metabolic rate. This means you’ll have more energy and have a higher fat burning rate so that you can lose weight faster. In addition, it allows you to have adequate nutrition without the added calories and fat found in most protein-rich foods such as meat and dairy. The ReveLife Products are not mandatory.
I heard you lose faster when avoiding carbohydrates. Should I avoid carbohydrates?
Do not avoid carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are the body’s preferred and major energy source and eliminating this entire food group from your diet is often not sustainable and can mean you’re missing out on other important nutrients such as fiber and B group vitamins. Initially, when you follow a low carbohydrate diet you may lose weight quickly because your body is losing mostly water. This is because the body is breaking down glycogen stores (carbohydrate stores) and water is stored with glycogen, so when this breaks down you lose a lot of water from your body. Weight loss is about moderation and balance, and you don’t need to avoid entire food groups.
What do my weekly consultations include? How does it work?
At least twice weekly, you’ll meet with your personal Nutrition Coach for a private consultation. Your coach will monitor your progress and will help you where you need it most. Your coach will provide you with strategies to help you maximize your weight loss results all while helping you handle challenging situations such as dining out, traveling, and motivation.
Do I have to come in for my weekly consultations?

I’ve been on so many diets. Unfortunately, I always hit a point where I stop losing weight. Will this happen on the ReveLife Program?

What if I have allergies/ intolerances? Can I go on your Program if I have Celiac Disease?
You will be eating your own food choices while following ReveLife nutritional guidelines. Your ReveLife App will make it simple, easy and stress-free. The suitability of ReveLife products will be dependent on your specific dietary requirements associated with your allergy or intolerance. Your ReveLife coach will work one-on-one with you to determine your exact needs.
Can I have caffeinated beverages on the Program?
Yes, you can enjoy up to 2-3 caffeinated beverages a day. If you are a heavy coffee, cola or tea drinker, you may want to consider cutting back – especially if it interferes with your water intake. If you choose to decrease your caffeine intake, do so gradually – cutting your intake in half each week will help to avoid caffeine withdrawal-related symptoms.
Am I going to be able to eat out at restaurants while on the Program?
Yes, our Program gives you the flexibility of being able to eat at a restaurant or café and have the confidence to make healthy choices. Our ReveLife App gives you thousands of healthy choices at your fingertips. Best of all, your coach is there to help you create a strategy for choosing the best options when dining out. They’ll help you plan for any occasion and ensure your week keeps you on track to your weight loss goal.
Do I have to give up alcohol while on the Program?
We believe most things in life can be enjoyed in moderation. Alcohol is very high in calories so during your weight loss program it is recommended that alcohol intake is limited to support optimal weight loss results. Your coach will work with you and provide strategies to manage your intake.
Do I have to take vitamin supplements with the Program?
Due to decreased food intake, a high-quality vitamin and mineral supplement should always be taken to compensate for missing nutrients. A restricted diet may also require oral potassium supplementation which, along with sodium regulates the body’s fluid balance. Symptoms of low potassium include muscle weakness, fatigue, or muscle cramping. Your Coach will provide you with a list of recommended supplements.
When should I weigh myself?
We recommend you weigh at least 5 days per week. Being aware is the key to ensuring optimal results. We suggest weighing at the same time daily for consistency and to avoid any discouragement from normal body fluctuations. It’s also important to know that each set of scales is calibrated uniquely so you should always weigh yourself on the same set of scales to ensure consistency. On the ReveLife Program, you’ll weigh in with your Nutrition coach at least twice weekly, prior to each consultation. You may also come into the club in between your consultations to use our FDA approved health kiosk to get your weight, blood pressure, fat-free mass, and body fat percentage.
I have Diabetes. Is the ReveLife program suitable for me?
The ReveLife Program is suitable for people with well-controlled diabetes. ReveLife snacks are all appropriate when eaten as part of the ReveLife Program. We consider your health to be our number one priority, so you will be asked to complete a Health Questionnaire prior to enrolling on the program. We encourage our members to try all the foods they are comfortable with as individual blood glucose varies from person-to-person.
I am breastfeeding. Can I do your Program?
Restricting calorie intake post-partum could interfere with a mother’s milk supply and ability to heal from childbirth. We recommend you consult with your doctor prior to beginning a weight loss plan. Once you make a decision to begin the ReveLife Program, a meal plan that promotes a slower rate of weight loss, about 1 lb. per week is the safest strategy to help promote continued milk production. Lean proteins, fresh vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy, and heart-healthy fats will make up the bulk of a healthy meal plan for weight loss while breastfeeding. You coach will work closely with you to ensure the best food choices are made.
Can I do the program when I travel?
Absolutely. The ReveLife Mobile App is the foundation of our fitness & nutrition programs making it convenient to follow your weight loss program from anywhere you are. In addition, ReveLife products are conveniently packaged making it easy to take along with you.
What happens when I reach my desired goal weight?
Learning does not stop when you reach your goal weight. In fact, it’s just as important to come in regularly to help ensure you continue to practice the principles of a healthy lifestyle. You will have an option to continue with regular, private consultations with your coach; how often you do this depends on your needs. In addition, we recommend you continue with healthy, high protein snacks available for purchase as a member. Continuing with your fitness program is critical to your long-term weight maintenance so keeping up with your ReveLife Club membership is highly encouraged.
